We understand that
photos are a piece of history that is captured in a moment,
preserved on paper. Unfortunately, elements aren't always kind to
our photographs. They can become creased, scratched, faded, torn
and worse. Alexandria Art Gallery's photo restoration has fixed
the problems listed above while also fixing the photo being stuck
to glass in some cases. Once fixed, we suggest that you
painstakingly take care of them, by using UV Protecting glass, an
acid free mat and frame, leaving the photo out of direct heat
and/or sun exposure.
We are in Florida,
and humidity and sun are the most destructive elements your photos
will run into. NEVER leave your photos in the car, near windows
or AC Vents, or in direct exposure to sunlight. Remember the
sun's ray's can destroy a car's paint so it can easily fade paper.
We use high tech
high resolution equipment. We also hand repair digitally all our
restoration jobs. It may take some time to get your photos fixed,
but we are sure that you will be very satisfied. (See some of our
